Twist Of Magical Jazz (AKA Booker)
This is Booker. He is a 4 yr old Half Arabian Gelding. Booker was born July 13, 2005 at 3:28 am! I saw and helped him be born and he is my first foal.
His dam is Jasmine. His sire is a Registered Arabian Stallion, Paddys Bito Magic (click here to go to his page). Booker was gelded June 1st of 2006 at 11 months old. Booker was measured and is right between 14.3 and 15.0hh as a four year old. He is registered with the HAHR. His registered name is Twist Of Magical Jazz and his registration # is *1A360160.
Booker has been handled since birth and is a very calm and respectful gelding. He is a fast learner and is such a loving horse. He knows how to halter, lead, tie, groom, clip, stands for the vet and farrier great. Booker is a very smart horse and knows a lot of ground work and respect. He is my first foal I have raised and I absolutely love him. Booker is a very smart horse and has lots of potential. I have started his under saddle work. He has done very well so far! We have walked, trotted, and cantered. We have been on three trail rides so far. We have went through the woods, fields, and down the road. Booker also knows how to ground driving and does very well at it! He picked it right up the first time we did it. I am looking forward to seeing his progress undersaddle! He is a very smart gelding and will develop into an awesome riding or show horse. He has a lot of potential. Im hoping to possibly show this great boy! :)
Last fall Booker and I started taking some lessons together late summer and fall of 2009 because I want to show him. He has picked up most things quickly! We are working on consistent gaits, moving to side pressure and rein pressure for neck reining, as well as my riding. Lol after 10 years of owning horses and taking my first lesson it has been an eye opener on what I need to concentrate on as the rider and how I ride. I had hoped to show Booker for the 2010 show season but I am pregnant now and due early October 2010 so we are going to wait until 2011 to show! :)
